We are seeking highly motivated, team-oriented professionals with previous experience in the software industry to join a small, fast-paced team supporting and developing state-of-the-art intranet applications for process and project management.

The Product Support Engineer will serve as the primary support liaison between pragma SYSTEMS and our customers. The Product Support Engineer will provide telephonic and e-mail support to our customers, answering highly complex questions on function and usage of our products. The Product Support Engineer will also provide on-site consulting support on an as-needed basis (some travel may be required).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Consulting with customers to identify and resolve issues
  • Providing technical support for the pragma SYSTEMS’ processMax product
  • Assisting customers with product installations and upgrades
  • Troubleshooting software issues relating to processMax
  • Developing on-line knowledge base

Position Requirements

  • Minimum two years experience in a software engineering environment
  • Demonstrated help desk/technical support/consulting experience, especially supporting external customers
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting web-based applications and/or supporting Windows-based client/server applications
  • Outstanding customer support skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, software engineering, or a related field
  • Proof of US Citizenship or authorization to work in the US
  • Non-Smoker

Desired Additional Experience

  • Familiarity with SEI’s SW-CMM, CMMI, or ISO 9000
  • Familiarity with SQL databases
  • Familiarity with Crystal Reports


Compensation history must be verifiable.
Positions are available in Northern Virginia.
